- Leave from wherever you already are. This one does not start at a station.
- Walk until the street stops feeling like a decision.
- Take the third street that smells of bread, or bins, or the river – whichever comes first.
- Cross the first thing that repeats: a bridge, a railway, a change underfoot from paving to something older.
- Stop at a doorway that looks like it has been open longer than you have.
- Buy one thing you did not come out to buy.
- Sit somewhere until the light changes.
- Go home a way you have not tried.
That is the whole route. It has no easy exit because leaving is always available – you just decided to keep going.
